Implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications to Improve Population Health and Health Systems

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) and Temerty Centre for AI Research and Education in Medicine is proud to announce an implementation grant to support AI applications that will enhance population health and health systems. Funding is available for one (1) project.

Purpose

One of the five priority research areas at the DLSPH is to use data sciences, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in informatics and analytics to improve population health and health systems performance. The DLSPH Data Science Interdisciplinary Research Cluster (IDRC) supports initiatives to engage multidisciplinary teams of researchers and partners to advance innovative and impactful research to improve health systems and the health of populations.

The T-CAIREM at the Faculty of Medicine is an interdepartmental Centre that serves as a focal point for collaboration among healthcare providers, trainees, researchers, computer scientists, engineers, and industry. Their goal is to transform health through AI.

In partnership with T-CAIREM and DLSPH, the goal for this award is to support the implementation of AI applications that will enhance population health and health systems.
