Emilie is currently completing her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. She recently graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Life Sciences, where she undertook a thesis project to specialize in Epidemiology. During her time off, Emilie returns to her hometown Calgary, Alberta to work as a research assistant at the University of Calgary in the Cummings School of Medicine. Her work is primarily equity-oriented, with the goal of synthesizing and generating evidence that highlights health disparities at the global level. In her free time, Emilie stays very active: she loves to participate in recreational and competitive sports teams, as well as outdoor active living.
