Renée Sirbu

Undergraduate Student 

Renée A. Sirbu is an undergraduate research student at the Population Health Analytics Lab. She has worked as an intern at the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario, analyzing excess mortality due to the novel COVID-19 crisis, as well as investigating the effects of the ongoing opioid crisis in Canada. Her personal research through the Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IHPST) at U of T is focused on choice architecture, coercion, and consumerism in medical decision-making. She is in her fourth year, studying Bioethics, Human Biology: Health and Disease, and Analytic Philosophy at the University of Toronto.
