Aleksandra Zuk completed her PhD in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health in 2018. She is a pediatric hematology/oncology Registered Nurse. For her doctoral thesis, Aleksandra investigated interaction effects between serum vitamin D and periodontitis on glycemic abnormalities. Aleksandra holds a Nursing Science degree from Queen’s University and an International Master of Public Health degree from Ecole des hautes études en santé publique (EHESP), Paris, France.
