Rachel Savage completed her PhD in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) in 2018 under the supervision of Drs. Natasha Crowcroft and Laura Rosella. Her research focused on understanding the risk and burden of travel-related infections, particularly amongst immigrant travelers, and was supported by a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships doctoral research award. She holds an Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree specializing in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
